Marinated Goat Cheese

Perfect make-ahead dish for summer enteraining!

Ingredients:
  • 1 lb cold chèvre 

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced 

  • 2 tbs chopped fresh rosemary

  • 4 tbs chopped fresh basil

  • ¼ tsp hot red chili flakes

  • 1 cup extra virgin olive oil 

  • Thinly-sliced baguettes, pitas or crackers for serving 

Instructions
  • Slice cheese into 1/2 inch rounds. 

  • Arrange in one layer on rimmed serving dish. Place garlic around the cheese. 

  • Sprinkle cheese with herbs and chili flakes 

  • Cover evenly with olive oil

  • Cover dish and marinate a few hours at room temperature, or in fridge for up two days.

  • When ready to serve, allow cheese to come to room temperature if refrigerated.
