Chocolate Pudding Torte

This recipe is from my collection of community cookbooks, more specifically, from the PEO chapter N of New Canaan cookbook. It caught my eye for its name "Auntie Judy's Famous Chocolate Torte" and is perfect for summer!
Ingredients:
1 cup flour
1 stick of butter
1/2 cup of ground nuts
3 tbs powdered sugar
8 oz softened cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup cool whip
1 6 oz chocolate pudding
2 1/2 cups cold milk
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350
Blend the flour, butter, 3 tbs powdered sugar and nuts with a fork and press into a tart pan; bake for 15 minutes
Using a hand mixer, blend the cream cheese and 1 cup of powdered sugar with the cool whip
Mix pudding according to package instructions
When the crust has cooled completely layer the cream cheese over the crust, then top with the pudding.
