Sun Tea

Because Glennon Doyle wrote, “The staying is making you”, in her powerful novel, Untamed, we present a recipe for a beverage that cannot be rushed and only you determine when it is truly ready.

Makes about one pitcher full, around 8 cups.

You will need…

  • 8 cups water
  • 5 tea bags (can use regular or herbal. We like English Breakfast)
  • Any fruit slices to garnish, such as oranges, lemons or limes ( we used all of them!)
  • A clean glass container with a lid ( think pitchers with lids or large size Mason jar)

Pour the water in your container of choice, add the tea bags, and cover with lid. Allow the tea bags to steep in direct sun for a few hours or until it reaches your desired strength. At this point, you can add the fruit slices to the container.

Serve over ice and garnish with fruit
