daily elixir

Google “daily elixir” or “daily tonic” and you’ll get enough information to send you into a tizzy and forget the whole thing. My philosophy is… simple is always BEST! So forget the juicer, the fancy peptide powders, the collagens that promise you’ll grow a mane long enough to make a horse jealous…and stick to what ya know. 

This recipe is a combination of popular little potions you’ll find through your daily elixir research, using tried and TRUE ingredients like lemon juice, cinnamon, and ginger. REMINDER: I AM NO NUTRITIONIST but from what I gather, these ingredients are anti-inflammatory, and are meant to both detox the body and boost your immune system. 


  • 1 chai tea bag
  • 1 lemon, juiced 
  • 1 tablespoon honey 
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon


  • Add the tea bag, lemon juice, honey, ginger and cinnamon to boiling water
  • Stir until well combined
