Paloma Granita

*Makes two luscious cups of granita
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 lime, zested
- 1 cup of grapefruit juice
- 1/4 cup tequila
- 1/4 cup triple sec
Steps
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the water, sugar, and lime zest; Stir until the sugar dissolves
- Pour the sugar mixture into an 8×8 glass baking dish; Stir in the grapefruit juice, tequila, and triple sec
- Place the dish flat in the freezer; After 1 hour, take the dish out of the freezer and fluff the granita with a fork. Place back in the freezer for another hour. Repeat this step 2 more times until the granita has formed
